"Champagne Supernova" is one of the best rock songs ever recorded IMO.
It's the kind of record that has so many layers of sound that you can hear new elements every time you listen to it. And believe me, I've listened to it hundreds of times. Lyrically, it's open to many different interpretations as well.
There are very few seven-minute songs that can maintain my interest throughout, but this is definitely one of them.
US Hot 100 Airplay: #20, US Modern Rock: #1, US Mainstream Rock: #9, Australia: #25
Surprisingly, the song only had an official single release in Australia.

This is a great song! Not as good as "Wonderwall," but it doesn't fall too far behind.

I just edited the spelling in the title for search purposes.
Anyway, this is my favorite Oasis song and one of my favorite Alternative records of the 90's. This whole album is great.

Amazing song. The production is flawless.
"Champagne Supernova", "Wonderwall" and "Don't Look Back In Anger" are three of my favorites singles from the 90's. Their first two albums are amazing.
