My station is playing "The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide is Press Coverage" all the time now. Still haven't heard the actual single on the radio.

I'd like them to release "Lying Is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off" but I think they're going with: "Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage" Long titles!

So here's a fun story.
My friend and I were joking around about the name "PANIC! At The Disco" and were saying how cool we thought it was. We had each just heard a clip of a song and wern't really sure about it.
So we knew that the bassist from Fall Out Boy produced this. And some people described them as "Bling 182 meets The Postal Service and Fall Out Boy."
We're both fans of those three bands, so we got this friend of ours to stop at Best Buy and get the CD.
Hearing some of it, we determined it was almost identical to Fall Out Boy. The sound is so close, and the vocals are almost exact.
Kinda like it though.

I just got the cd, i like it, I've only heard two songs though. I think FOB is less ummm, synth-y?
Okay the was a bad discription.

I have to admit i really wasn't all that into them at first, but today my friend played their CD in the car and I thought it was great. I like "Build God, Then We'll Talk" the best

Okay, so what IS their single?
"I Write Sins" is said to be the single and is doing well on iTunes.
"The Only Difference" is #24 at Alternative radio and I hear it frequently on G-Rock and several Sirius stations.
They need to pick one song and get fully behind it! I don't get this split single business.

“The Only Difference” was never meant to be the single. I think the main reason it’s gotten all that airplay is because of the buzz the band has had and fans requesting Panic! At Disco to get played on radio. The band picked “I Write Sins” to be their first single just for the sake of making a video. They said in this really long interview that they don’t push their songs to get played on radio. www.heartsandsleeves.com/html/panic__at_the_disco.htmlAnd they also said that they would like to make a video for “There’s A Reason These Tables Are Numbered…”. One of my least favorite songs on the album. Not that it’s a bad song, but it reminds me of ska music because of the use of horns.

Interesting... thanks. I totally think they'd explode at radio with a "push." It is kind of interesting that they're getting so much mainstream attention without really calling out to radio at all.

Well, with the buzz they're getting, it stands to reason that the label will start pushing them anyway.

My favorite band of all-time. I'm seeing them live March 9th, and I'm BEYOND about to pee my pants.

I agree... I think if the band and the label had some sort of game plan or push P at the D (as I like to now call them) could be this year's The Killers

Brendan is the name of the lead singer of PA!TD. Not Brandon, but close.

This is okay. Very Fall Out Boy except way weirder. I must say, the lead singer of the band is pretty damn hot. And he's only 18 I can't believe I'm now older than some of these breakthrough bands (I'm 19). It's just weird. It makes me feel like I'm aging rapidly.

#17 on iTunes
This is okay, but I like their other "single" better and they really do sound too much like Fall Out Boy.

This has grown on me immensely the past few weeks. I think their performance on MTV Overdrive was what did it. The lead singer is just daaaaaamnn.... lol

This is actually the pop single. lol
I guess it's like a dual release. This is getting a bunch of pop adds.

The radio edit is silly and makes me not like the song.
