I still play this a lot, I love it from beginning to end. I'm dissapointed that it was a remake though.

I like this song a lot, it's really catchy. But is not one of my favorites from Natalie.

I like this one, it's a shame she never caught on in the US.

Yeah, especially when "White Lilies Island" is an amazing pop album.

The first few times I heard this I just thought it was kind of boring. Then it just clicked and I loved it and bought the album right away. I really like the video too. I remember when MTV added it as a "buzz" song or whatever. If I remember, MTV beat radio to this.

I never understood what was so good about this song. One of the most overrated songs of all-time.

I never knew this was a cover or remake either.
Regardless, this song was so annoying and the one part of 1998 that I want to forget. Ugh...

I guess this song is originally by Ednaswap. Imbruglia's version is much better.

Can someone explain the peak of #42 on the Hot 100? The song was enormous! I don't understand.

simple...at that time Billboard didn't allow songs to chart unless it had a cd-single released. "Torn" was #1(i think) on the airplay chart for weeks...it was probably released as a single way after it had peaked.

It was at #42 the first week Billboard allowed radio-only singles to chart. This was MONTHS after its peak at radio. Lots of big hits from that year have misleadingly low peaks for the same reason.

Ugh. It's stuff like that that makes me want to discredit the Hot 100 entirely.
