This needs a rapper on it to make it to the top, I nominate Ludacris. I would HATE that. I don't think this song needs anything, but if she went with a rapper, I wouldn't want such a cliche choice like Luda.

I think Luda would be good on it. He's pretty unique with his raps.

I don't think this will go #1 either. Probably Top 10, coming off Promiscuous, but not #1. I'd say maybe lower Top 5 region lol...not #1 or #2
Yea, whatever happened to the Lil' Wayne remix?
I forgot about that...
but I've been listening to Man Eater more lately, since I'm sorta burnt out on Promiscuous. It's a good alternative. But then by the time Man Eater hits it big on radio I will be long done with it lol

I wouldn't want a contribution of another aritst for this one... she's already got Timba on Promiscuous... that's practically a duet......

Nelly-Furtado.net posted a radio rip of a supposedly official remix with a rapper on it. I have that one, it's featuring a rapper called Alozade or something. It's actually not that bad. The beat is different from the original though.

I love the album version....I wish she'd incooperate the end into the middle somehow for a U.S. radio remix...it adds a lot of variety. The original is just too repetitive. I don't think it will flop, though...definitely top 10.

No way will this flop. The first single is already HUGE, and whatever the follow-up is is destined to go at least Top 10.

I think if Promiscuious does wind up going no. 1 on Billboard and pop, this will take of REALLY well and fast.

I don't think this will hit #1. I think #4. Especially with new releases from Beyonce, Christina, Janet, Justin...
There's just too much competition.

I think this will do extremely well, but her third single will bomb.

Nelly confirms in the latest Entertainment Weekly that this is definitely the second US single.

I don't like the album version. Ditto, it gets way too noisy at the end. I much prefer the radio version.

This is one of my favorite songs so far of 2006. I'd love it to reach No. 1 on CHR, but it'll probably peak somewhere in the Top 5. If this would've been the first single, it would've bombed. The success of "Promiscuous" has paved the way for "Man Eater" to be a big hit. The chorus is extremely infectious and I can't get it out of my head!

The remix is hot but Wayne's verse opens the song and then u dont hear from him again. I wish he had a second verse, but oh well.

The remix has a hot beat but it's sloppy as hell....it still might help her out with some urban leaning rhythmic stations, though.

I hate the remix. I don't think this song works with a slowed-down beat (I LOVE the original), and those guys in the background that keep yelling "yup!" like they're Dem Franchise Boyz are annoying. Of course, that might be the only chance for this song to be successful in the U.S...did Timbaland produce the remix too?

Is the remix going to be the only version released? Or are they gonna give the album version a try, and ship the remix out later?

i think they should send the album version to pop and the remix to rhythmic and some urban radios.

I think they should do it Mariah style send the original out to all formats and as the originial looks to slow/ get tiring then ship out the remix. The remix can at least also help when it comes to downloads.

I like this more than Promiscious. Agree! I don't like the idea of a remix replacing the original version. They should atleast give the album version a try. It has HIT written all over it!
