She makes more money with the tour though.

Oh of course she makes plenty of money off touring, but does she really need more money?

#39 in the UK.
This is her lowest charting single there.

I really get the impression that she doesn't care. She hasn't done anything to push this album or the singles. Even at her promo appearances she was talking more about her films, etc.
Get it together Madge! I can't feel too sorry for her though, not with the money she's making from her tour.

She doesn't care. This is her last album with Warner. She makes more money from the tour. She's flirting with that baseball player.

This could have easily been a world-wide smash. I don't feel sorry for her. Of course some of the blame applies to the label, but what promotion did she do for this song, or even the entire album? She has done nothing to promote her music positively since the Confessions era. And other than the Grammy performance, all her work was confined to Europe for that album.

This chart position is incredibly disappointing to me because it's one of her better singles. There is absolutely no excuse for this missing the top 20 -- especially when I think of how many radio-unfriendly songs she managed to send into the top 10. Hell, even "Love Profuson" hit #11.
Just sloppy promo both in the UK and US. In the US, she really can't afford to be sloppy. The last time she had two consecutive top 10 hits was in 2000.

It's her last album with Warners, do you really think she's going to whore herself out to make money for them when she's making $300 million a tour? Face facts.

fact: madonna is a whore by nature so it shouldn't be a problem anyway..yeah it's obvious she doesn't give a f**k. but i LOVE this song and i didn't want to see it flopping so hard.

But regardless, it doesn't make sense for any artist to sully their track record. The average listener has no idea about her contractual issues, they just know that she flopped.
