The Sounds are a post-punk revival band from Helsingborg, Sweden founded in 1999 (thanks Wikipedia). Anyway, with this whole indie/pop/rock revolution, this band should have a big success if their new album is as good as their past efforts. Some of their singles are: "Painted By Numbers", "Tony The Beat" and "Living In America". I wish they could have had more succes with these singles internationally. www.myspace.com/thesounds

Their last album was really solid, nothing deep or amazing, but catchy as hell. Their lack of success last time was dumbfounding to me, especially when a crap band like The Ting Tings blows up.
Maja is hawt!

"Hurt You" is currently being used in a Geico commercial. They are taking waaaaaay too long to release another album.

^ Yep. The new album should have been released like...yesterday. There's too much Ting Tings hype around.

The Sounds are currently working with British producer Mark Saunders (Neneh Cherry, The Cure, Shiny Toy Guns) on their next album.

Their new album is called "Crossing the Rubicon". And they're supporting No Doubt on tour as well this year.

The first single leaked. "No One Sleeps When I'm Awake" www.myspace.com/thesoundsIt's not as fun as their previous songs. I'm disappointed. Maybe it'll grow on me.

"Dorchester Hotel" sounds pretty good, but I am not into that first single. I still have hope for the album.

"Home Is Where the Heart Is'" is so cliché, but it is such a jam.

Yeah. "Home Is Where the Heart Is'" is my favorite on the album. It should be a single.
