It already went for adds? I dont think this can flop...maybe the label isn't pushing it yet? I dont see how radio can ignore this song.

LOL Not shocking at all. I didnt understand all the hype this song got here. He's done much better. It's not just "hype here"...the song is produced by Polow Da Don, one of the top notch producers at urban/rhythmic radio, plus it features Keri Hilson who isn't a stranger to hits at the format either. Besides, Nas is a well-known veteran and there has been a ton of buzz surrounding this upcoming album. It seems to have everything going for it, so that's why its surprising.

I still think this will become his biggest hit since "I Can." It's still really early for this.

Nothing about this mess is surprising. Its weak. Polow is not Timbaland so thats not gonna guarantee and hit and who gives a damn about Keri Hilson? ROTFL might as well put Mya on the track. I have not seen this song hyped anywhere else. They debuted it on the radio a few weeks ago and the response was luke warm at best. When its all said and done I see this going top 20 at urban. I think his last 2 albums and lack of radio friendly singles have hurt him. This attempt for relevance at radio may be too little too late.

I think Nas' flow on this track puts anything on Tha Carter III to shame....

This song just feels epic.
and my point was that Nas, Keri and Polow are all established names at Urban/Rhythmic radio. Yea, Polow is no Timbaland in terms of being around forever, but his productions are always bangers.

Ehhh... I wouldn't call Keri established though. She's had one solo single to date and it's a major flop so far. Even if she were established, her role in "Hero" is very minor anyway.
I agree about Nas and Polow though. lol

Well yea, I know Keri isn't HUGE, but when I say established I mean she is pretty much a "household name" to radio stations on the format, due to Way I Are, and all the buzz she has received lately. There could be alot lesser-known R&B chicks to put on the track.

Keri Hilson a household name?
Just no.
(Sorry)

Um, I said a household name to radio stations on the format.
I think it's pretty safe to say 90% of those at Urban/Rhy/Pop know who Keri Hilson is.

I doubt Keri is a household name in her own home.

I doubt Keri is a household name in her own home. ROTFL. But seriously, I would say Keri Hilson is pretty well known through out the internet...which I guess could be a household thing. I don't even think this song has an adds date, but I wouldn't be surprised if it flopped. It seems like poor planning. Why is his album stlill coming out July 15 and the single is barely getting any airplay? He made a terrible decision when signing with Def Jam.

The video was ok. I understand this was Nas's single and all but damn! That could have been anybody driving that car. Combining the clips, Keri had a 1.5 second cameo and those are her adlibs all through the song.
