I knew this would end up being the third single. It should have been Wonderful Life for sure, but I'm positive Early Winter will be the fourth single - aside from 4 AM, this is her favorite on the album. I have a feeling she didn't want to release it third since it will be out late spring/summer.

Good single choice, but I would rather have "Early Winter."

After hearing this a few more times, I really really love this! I hope this does really well. It should be a pop classic.

I don't like this as a single. The hook is ... hmm, there are too many words maybe. "Early Winter" should have been the third single.

I like this a lot but for some reason the pre-chorus rubs me the wrong way a little. Other than that, it's a solid song.
I kind of feel like this is the "Cool" of the new album... and "Cool" is only about 200 times better and it didn't exactly set the charts on fire, so I feel conflicted because I want this to chart high but if this does better than "Cool" it will kind of just feel wrong.

"Cool" was more upbeat though. If you had to compare this with any song on LAMB it would be "Cool." Though, they both have a very different sound. "Four in the Morning" is more late 80's/early 90's.

Actually I think the chorus on this sounds a lot like "The Real Thing".

Yeah but as far as the singles go, this one matches up most with "Cool."

Although, "Sweet Escape" matches up with "Cool" in my opinion.
As for "Wind It Up"... that matches up with H**der.

This matches up with "Cool" WAY better than "Sweet Escape," although "Early Winter" is probably the song off TSE that's closest to "Cool" for me.

although "Early Winter" is probably the song off TSE that's closest to "Cool" for me. Both of those songs are very laid back and similar in nature. I agree. "4 In The Morning" is too upbeat to be compared to "Cool" IMO.

Rodney Jerkins is doing a hip-hop remix as well and Stuart Price (Lu'Conte) is doing the dance mixes.
