This will probably be the equivalent to TSE as "Cool" was to . Chances are it won't peak in the top 10, and she'll follow it up with a crappy, anonying and more urban-leaning single that will most likely do better. "Cool" had the video going for it, too... plus it was a better song. It wouldn't surprise me if this was a total flop now.

I agree. This will probably peak at like #12, and then she'll send "Yummy" to radio in like August and it will go Top 10.

I think they should have gone for Wonderful Life instead of this. It would've made a much stronger single. I think regardless of whether it flops or not, though, Early Winter will definitely go for adds in August. By the time it peaks it'll be November/December, which is perfect timing.

Considering this is following up a huge hit, I think it'll have a strong start. But I can totally see it fizzling out in the lower regions of the Top 20.

Well, we shall see what the remixes for this song do. I have to hear those first before deciding this will totally flop.

Well, we shall see what the remixes for this song do. I have to hear those first before deciding this will totally flop. Agreed. I'm sure the pop stations that are more HAC leaning will have no problem playing the album version, but the remixes will be essential for more rhythmic leaning stations. I'm really anxious to hear Bryan Michael Cox's version...this song would be amazing with a WBT/Be Without You type of beat. Basically, if the beat is kept the same throughout, the abrupt transitions from the verses to the bridges wouldn't be nearly as evident.

I really like the video. I hope this goes to top 10. After this, she should send out "Now That You Got It" for the summer, and then "Early Winter" to finish this era.

Looks like this is picking up a bit. This time last week it wasn't bulleted. It still hasn't gone for adds yet either. So, its off to a nice start.

I think that "Now That You Got It" sounds dated as hell already . "Yummy" should be the next single if she wants a sales smash and a radio hit.

"Yummy" should be the next single if she wants a sales smash and a radio hit. As much as I hate it.

I hope this flops, she released all the wrong singles. Really? Two top 10's, one almost went #1, and album sales have surpassed 1M. I don't see anything that was chosen wrong this era.

"Wind It Up" was an awful choice, the second single was perfect and i like this one bu tyeah "Early Winter" or "Wonderful Life" should have been released. And i don't hate "Yummy" as much as i did.

"Yummy" doesn't sound like a hit to me at all actually. If "WIU" failed at radio, I don't see "Yummy" doing much better.
She should have released "The Sweet Escape" first. I prefer "Early Winter" and "Wonderful Life" to "4 In The Morning," but I honestly think 4ITM is the best single choice of all of them. "EW" is too serious for Pop radio and "WL" is too dance-retro. Also, "4ITM" has that laid back sound that's pefect for this time of year. A song about winter is not.

I personally think the singles have been perfect. "Wind It Up" may not have been a radio hit, but it sure as hell got people talking.

Wind It Up is actually one of my favorite tracks on the album! haha At first, I hated it! I was like, "What the f**k is this??" Then it grew on me a lot! I would still love to see Early Winter & Wonderful Life get released.
