AIN'T THAT A 'SHAME': The seventh-place finalist from the seventh season of "American Idol" is the third contestant from this most recent year to appear on a Billboard chart, following winner David Cook and runner-up David Archuleta. Kristy Lee Cook from Selma, Ore., debuts at No. 58 on Hot Country Songs with her first single, "15 Minutes of Shame" (19/Arista).

Kristy Lee almost claimed the honor of being the first singer from the seventh season of "Idol" to chart with an original song that was not performed on the series, but she has to settle for a tie. After one day of airplay and an appearance on the Teen Choice Awards, Archuleta bows on the Pop 100 with his first single, "Crush" (19/RCA).

Kristy Lee is the 36th 'Idol" competitor to appear on a Billboard chart, showing up on the country tally just two weeks after fifth season finalist Ace Young made his debut on The Billboard 200. Kristy Lee is the seventh "Idol" to have a song show up on Hot Country Songs, following Kelly Clarkson, Josh Gracin, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler, Bucky Covington and Phil Stacey.
