Funny..she has the first writing credit for this (followed by someone else and then The Dream).
I'm surprised AllMusic didn't list it as a highlight, though.

The videos better then I expected. I thought this sounded boring at first, but it will easily be his biggest single.

So this looks like its really under performing. Im sure they will end up putting some payola behind it shortly.

It's just really boring and underwhelming. The-Dream's album had somewhat of a buzz, and this song killed it off. Def Jam doesn't wait long when it comes to situations like this, though. I wouldn't be surprised if another song from his album will be going for adds early next month.

You dont think they are gonna try and push this?

|
Post by Grenade on Apr 6, 2009 1:51:57 GMT -5
They might, but it wouldn't be in his best interest. This song isn't going to push units, so using payola just to say that it peaked a few spots higher when the general public doesn't give a sh*t about that is just a waste, IMO. Plus, stations are already playing "Walkin' on the Moon."

I'm really hoping they'll give this a push. This is basically "So Lonely" all over again.

Yeah, this is basically done. I don't think it deserved to do well, but I still expected more at urban after "Rockin' That Thang."
