Worst #1 since... "Boom Boom Pow." The Rolling Stone review compared both of their singles to songs like "Who Let The Dogs Out" and "Wannabe." I kind of agree. I always found this song incredibly corny, like it was a Kidz Bop original or something. I can't stand it. EVERYONE loves it, though...and it is clearly the song of the summer 09. I hope it dies a fast fast death on these charts. I think it's going to stick around on the charts a while and will probably be a strong recurrent for the next year or two. After that though, it's going to land a permenant place in Cheeseland and will only be heard ten years from now in cliche scenes from comedy movies and at tacky people's weddings.

I've hated this song from the beginning. I'm ready for their third single. And it better be "Imma Be."

This definitely isn't quality, but even I have to admit that it sounds good on the radio. Everyone I know walks around singing it.
I'm not a fan of "Imma Be," either.

I don't care what their third single is. I'm going to hate it. I really dislike them this era, and in the past I've liked about 50% of their releases.

they should go with "Missing You" or "Alive" ...most of their album(as usual) is garbage.

#1 and deservedly so.

It definitely deserves #1 because of the sheer exposure of this song... I just hope it doesn't stay there for any longer than 2-3 weeks.

I hope it stays there for a while. I'm tired of the #1 song changing all the time. It seems like every song is getting at least a week at #1.

I wonder how long this will stay #1 on the hot 100? Anyone think it could challenge for the record? I think that'd be a stretch, since it did waste a few weeks at #2 before going #1.

Who are the next challengers for #1 on the Hot 100?

Who are the next challengers for #1 on the Hot 100? "Run This Town" is the only one that comes to mind. Maybe "Use Somebody" if they do a high profile performance in the next month, but I doubt it. I guess "Down" also has a shot if sales keep up.

Approaching the 10k spin mark with a tremendous +839 bullet. This song took off so fast that it'll take a couple extra weeks for burn to build up, so we're definitely stuck with this at #1 for at least a month. Dandy.

This being #1 for a while could lead to David Guetta's two singles getting exposure. Win/Win

I think this song is going to end up being an even bigger hit than "Boom Boom Pow" when it's all said and done.

I don't think so...Boom Boom was #1 on the Hot 100 for 12 weeks.
I can see this maybe spending 10 weeks at #1 there, though.
UGH!!!!

At #1 with 10438 spins - and a +1112 bullet This is going to be #1 for an ETERNITY. I'm not looking forward to it. It's tolerable now, but I don't see that lasting for more than a few more weeks...

Will this be the #1 song of 2009? Or will that go to Boom Boom Pow?
