That last performance was crap compared to this:
She's got some serious chops, and there's no doubt that she has a much wider range than Beyonce. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that this picks up over here.

This song seems so huge here. Everyone loves it. Guys even have this as their ringtone and stuff, I don't get it. I guess it's "cool" to like David Guetta here but Kelly Rowland? I don't know. It's a pleasant song but it sounds like background music to me. It's not that catchy imo.

The UK is one of the few places that actually gives a crap about Kelly Rowland, lol. Not surprised this is a hit, they've both had big hits there in the past.

I'm late to the game on this one, but this is hot. Far superior to that "Love Is Gone" crap he released last year. I love Kelly's repeated "tonight, tonight" after the second chorus.

Kelly Rowland, Guetta for So You Think You Can Dance
Kelly Rowland and David Guetta will perform the chart climbing hit "When Love Takes Over" on So You Think You Can Dance this week.
The performance, set for Thursday, July 9, follows the chart-topping single's global domination of dance floors and charts.
Also marking the first time the single will be performed on US television, Guetta and Rowland's 'When Loves Takes Over' follows So You Think You Can Dance performances from Kristina DeBarge and Kelly Clarkson.
Guetta's new album "One Love," featuring Kelly Rowland, Estelle, Akon and Kid Cudi is due in stores August 25.
The single "When Loves Takes Over" is currently available through digital retailers.
So You Think You Can Dance airs at 9pm, Thursday, July 9.

I wouldn't say people actually give a crap about her in the UK. This song would have been a hit there with any singer on it. Kelly is popular in the UK. She is always performing there and she has several big hits on her own there far before this song came out. They definitely care about her. And she definitely adds something great to this record. Her vocals soar and not many people would sound as good as she does on this.

She's got some serious chops, and there's no doubt that she has a much wider range than Beyonce. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that this picks up over here. No doubt about it. I've always enjoyed her voice the most in Destiny's Child. Her tone is very warm and her timbre is very rich pleasant to listen to.

The only way they would perform this on the VMA's would be the Red Carpet pre-show or the in-between commercials slot.

If this were to become a big hit in the US as it has everywhere else in the world, it would be very easy for them to perform on stage at the VMAs. They dam near let anyone with a big hit perform. Its not as if the VMAs mean anything these days, but i dont think this song is going to do much else else it gets a boost at radio soon.
