I agree. Although I just heard this played on B96 Chicago and they didn't even bleep out the word b*tch.

It will be very interesting to see where this peaks at Pop radio. The last time a full-fledged dance song went Top 10 at Pop is probably Cascada's "Everytime We Touch" almost four years ago. Yet, the entire pop chart is very dance leading right now- it's just either pop-dance ("Poker Face," Hot and Cold"), rap-dance ("I Know You Want Me," "Right Round"), rhythmic dance ("Beautiful," "I Gotta Feeling"), or rock-dance ("Don't Trust Me," "Good Girls Go Bad"). But this craze has yet to translate into an authentic dance hit being a major hit. With a dance artist having a mainstream Urban artist on their track, this could change all of that and knock the dance movement into a full fledged invasion.

It's very interesting that you bring up this point. It's as if the radio has now turned into the club DJ.

I really hope this goes Top 10 on the Hot 100.
It's cool seeing a full on dance song in the Top 10 at Rhythmic. I'm really surprised this is blowing up faster there than Pop.

I hear this everywhere. Totally deserving of a spot in the top 10.

I hear this everywhere. Totally deserving of a spot in the top 10. It's on the radio every 5 minutes... I am getting burnt out now. It's #1 in airplay on Canadian Top 40 radio

This is really hot, and I'm thrilled that it's doing so nicely despite its pure dance sound. I'm aggravated that I haven't started hearing this on Atlanta radio.
Maybe I'm thinking too much, but the lyrics are pretty entertaining. Akon's trying so hard to be complimentary and completely falling flat.
"She's nothing like a girl you've ever seen before, nothing you can compare to your neighborhood whore." "I'm trying to find the words to describe this girl without being disrespectful...damn, you's a sexy b*tch, a sexy b*tch..."
High praise, indeed.

Huge sales gain this week. Airplay is picking up too. This has an outside shot at Top 10 on the Hot 100 this week.

Top 10 at Rhythmic with a huge bullet.
Definitely a hot song, but it's sooo played out here. I am sick of it.
#2 on the Canadian Hot 100...

This (at #13) now has the 3rd largest bullet at Pop behind only Ke$ha and Jay-Licia.
This won't go #1, but a Top 5 peak would be pretty incredible for this.
Then again...it's basically as if it's Akon's new single...electro-style...and radio still loves Akon.

Then again...it's basically as if it's Akon's new single...electro-style...and radio still loves Akon. yes and no. "Beautiful" is one of the songs I hear on the radio the most of 2009, but it peaked really low at radio. I guess parts of the country don't play him at all and other parts play him to death.

I think if "Beautiful" were realased now, it would have gone Top 10. It didnt peak that low on CHR, it hung around for a while in the 12-15 range. Not a smash, but it peaked around #12 or 13 I believe.

#11. Spent five weeks in the Top 15. Yea...that's not bad at all. If I remember correctly, it got blocked out of the Top 10 by some random circumstances.
