Not my favorite Pixies song (that would be "Hey!"), but Debaser is the track that catapulted them to fame. Later, "Where Is My Mind?" became popular from Fight Club, and I think "Here Comes Your Man," was also a hit back in the day. They basically started the Alternative rock movement, and were huge influences for both Nirvana and Weezer. The "Dig For Fire" video was also really big on MTV.

I don't really remember 'Debaser,' but if you lived in the northeast you'd hear "Monkey Goes to Heaven" and "Here Comes Your Man" on the alternative stations all the time. "Velouria" might be my favorite with "Where is My Mind" and "Gigantic" close behind. But really everything off their first two albums was solid.

Gigantic is great as well - especially the Surfer Rosa version.
