I love how Alicia's New York accent shines through on some words of this song. It adds some extra local charm to the song.

Well the one with Drake and the solo one.

Well the one with Drake and the solo one. LOL they're both solo. They're really saying "featuring Drake"? Drake whispers four words in the background at one point. It's so annoying how inflated the credit Drake gets for things.

This song isn't bad but I don't like it. Besides "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart" I'm not feeling this era at all.

This sound is really nice for Alicia. Or sounds like something that Esthero should have been given.

Who's Esthero?
btw Alicia wasn't given this, she wrote it herself.

I remember the name from appearing on a track from Nelly Furtado's debut and also the Shock Value 2 tracks. I remember thinking "how random, that girl from Nelly's debut is making another appearance almost 10 years later." I had no idea she had her own stuff in between.

Those waiting to see Alicia Keys’ colorful collaboration with Beyoncé will have to wait a little longer. The R&B songbird has put the eagerly-awaited video on the back burner while she readies a new single and video.
The Melina-directed visuals for “Put It in a Love Song,” filmed in Brazil in early February, have been delayed while Keys preps a video for “Un-thinkable (I’m Ready),” the new single from her Element of Freedom album, featuring vocals from co-writer Drake.
When asked when the Beyoncé-assisted video would debut, the Grammy winner exclusively told Rap-Up.com: “Expect it right after my ‘Un-thinkable’ video. It’s kind of nice that I have such a great video and such a great artist in the can,” she said. “They’re going to be able to see the ‘Un-thinkable’ video first and then see ‘Put It in a Love Song,’ but it probably won’t come until closer to this summer.”
The “Un-thinkable” clip will be shot in Los Angeles in mid-April with director Jake Nava (Beyoncé, Britney Spears), but don’t count on an appearance from Drake. “No, he won’t be in the video,” she added. “That’s too obvious.”
Keys couldn’t be happier for Drizzy’s success and revealed plans for more collaborations with the Young Money rapper. “He’s a great guy. I’m really happy for him,” she shared. “I’m really proud of all the things he’s been able to achieve, and we’re most likely going to do some kind of remix for the song that’ll be really good. There’ll be more of me and Drake.”

So does that mean that they did pull PIIALS? I'm guessing they'll re-send during the summer, since it's loking like she'll have a decent sized hit with this.

That actually makes sense. Alicia rarely has an uptempo, fun summer record...PIIALS would be great for late May/June/July/August (but Unthinkable will probably last until June anyway).

Talk about random... Chad Michael Murray plays her love interest in the video! LOL...Alicia goin' for that Pop audience! Video premieres on Wednesday (May 12) Alicia Keys takes on interracial dating in the past and present in the video for “Un-thinkable (I’m Ready),” the third single from The Element of Freedom. The powerful clip, which premieres May 12 on VEVO, was directed by Jake Nava and co-stars actor Chad Michael Murray as Alicia’s love interest.
“Alicia is a true artist and I was very pleased that she was brave enough to go with this unusual concept. Together I believe we have done something new and important,” said Nava. “I hope people are entertained by this video, but that it also makes them think. Alicia was a joy to work with. I love her music and aimed to enhance her visual impact in the marketplace.”

I don't like the video. It doesn't fit the mood of the song IMO.

Love is blind in the video for Alicia Keys’ “Un-thinkable (I’m Ready),” the third single from The Element of Freedom. Alicia’s character falls in love with a white man played by actor Chad Michael Murray, but racial tensions keep the lovers from expressing their feelings toward each other. The Jake Nava-directed clip flashes between the past and present to show that such apprehensions still exist. But will love conquer all?

I likes this video because it's a lil' different than what's out, but most importantly, how versatile Alicia's look was with each era. Although, her 90s look looked a bit chola lol
