Not only is it horrible grammar in the first place, but it's a waste of horrible grammar since they don't even sing it that way in the song.

And it's not even like someone who isn't very educated would slip up and say "I are." Common subject/verb agreement - a concept generally grasped, no?

Oh my God. You guys are starting to sound like neurotic Pulse people! Make it stop! At least we're not the ones rewriting the lyrics to a Kelly Clarkson song, Pulse-style.

Francisco is on the remix. It's basically the same song with him singing the first half. It's a waste.

Love this song, not sure how receptive Urban will be to this song, it's either a hit or miss with new, fresher sounds.

I'm sorry and I know it's completely silly, but i'm another one who's bugged by "can you handle me the way I are". I know it's stupid, but to me it's completely obvious and keeps me from loving the song wholeheartedly. As it is, I like it. Bad grammar won't stop this from being a hit, of course.

I just noticed it's not even "...the way I are." It's "the way I'm are." Awful!

Okay... i'm sure this was probably talked about before on some other thread, or maybe even in this one... I just saw the mcdonald's commercial that features this... f**king sell out!.. Just watched it on YouTube. The song really has no relevance to the commercial, but if the promo is going to help make it a hit you won't hear me complaining. I just think it's funny given that there's a verse in the remix about Timbaland's brother loving his fat girlfriend and we all know how healthy McDonald's food is...
