Pink's "Glitter In The Air" Soars Into iTunes Top 10 Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS) - After singer Pink's high-flying performance at Sunday's Grammy Awards, her single sales are now soaring as well. Her "Glitter in the Air" went from being an obscure album track on her 2008 album "Funhouse" to the top 10 on iTunes. The ballad "Glitter in the Air," written by Pink and frequent collaborator Billy Mann, is currently at #10 on the digital retailers chart and is expected to climb, making it Pink's biggest digital hit since "Sober." "Sober," currently at #80, climbed all the way up to #15 on the Billboard Hot 100, her sixth consecutive Top 20 single on the chart. "Glitter in the Air" is also currently in the Top 20 songs of AmazonMP3. Pink was named the best performance of the night by various media and greeted with a standing ovation following her performance of the album track. If the song is officially released as a single, it would be the "Funhouse" album's sixth worldwide single. Read more: www.allheadlinenews.com/articles/7017699290?Pink's%20#ixzz0ePBcj3FO

This was added to Cool New Music on AllAccess.
Her performance was great, but I don't like this as a single. I hope it won't be released. "I Don't Believe You" is way better if they wanted a ballad.

The performance of this would was amazing and deserves all the accolades.... but this song is so boring and it would flop as a radio single.

Up to No. 5 on iTunes!! IDBY is a snoozefest, IMO. This is so much better and the timing is perfect for release in winter months. I hope she films a gorgeous video!

I actually do prefer this to IDBY as well. So happy to see it's #5 on iTunes! They just added the mp3 and video of the Grammy performances to iTunes. Since the live version and this will be combined, she could easily get a top 20 hit on the hot 100 next week!

I actually just listened to the full song on YouTube. It's less boring than I thought, but still too plain for radio. It is a really nice song though.

She shouldn't release anything. Nothing will be hit, especially if her three previous, more radio friendly singles didn't doing much following a number one hit. This is doing well because of her beautiful performance, and I think that, and the fact the public is responding is enough. No need to turn a surprise into a failure.

Nope, it's the video cover from I-Tunes. They might as well send this to Pop. It's a great song. That being said, It's All Your Fault is still a smash. They could've released it three years ago or three years from now and it'd still be a hit.

I agree about IAYF. Honestly though, I'm at the point where I could care less if she has another hit on the album. I mean, I didn't think the era was going to produce anymore singles. I do LOVE Its All Your Fault, but at the same time, I feel like people who don't know her whole catalog think she's just some angry pop/rock chick and the Grammy performance of this showed she's way more than that. So for them to just release IAYF would kind of seem... wrong. lol I also don't care if she doesn't release anything else. She could use this time to go on talk shows and sing a different album track on each show. Since she has no single to promote, it would only help showcase the diversity & depth of the album. I actually think it could be a great promotional and marketing tool. Especially if she wants to add some more US tour dates. Either way, this is going to be a "bigger hit" on the Hot 100 than Funhouse was. It peaked at #44 and this should easily debut higher than that next week.
Also, this has always been a hidden gem on the album for me and I'm happy its gotten the exposure either way. Its brilliant.

I'd rather her not release a single and work on new music. If she could release something at the end of 2010 that would be great. But it probably won't happen.

^She already said it wont. She wants to take a break and find a new influence. However, she also said at the end of IND that it would be a while too and we all know it wasn't that long. lol It really all depends on how soon she finds the influence and motivation she needs. We MAY get new music sooner, cause she said she wants to record a "selfish" album before doing a full on 6th studio album. She said it would probably be an acoustic album. The way she made it sound is that it would just be something for the fans and not really an actual "album". If that makes sense.

This is still at #10 on itunes. This should easily have a Top 30 debut on the Hot 100, surpassing the peak of Funhouse EDIT: It just dropped down to #11. It was fun while it lasted.
