Good performance but what's with Jill in the dark clothing and wig....I prefer her more natural look. Her pipes are always right on though and her soul and spirit wrap around this performance. I like this track so much because it is SO different that anything in hip hop right now. Lupe is up in that joint also....he's good for a younger cat.

I LOVE THIS SONG! For the longest time I'd been hearing it on the radio but thought it was just some random local rapper. Little did I know until I heard it last week and the DJ announced it. WOO!

Jill Scott Releases Collaborations Album Jan 2007
Fourteen of soul singer Jill Scott's best known duets have been compiled for the album Collaborations, due Jan. 30 via Hidden Beach. The set features tracks with Mos Def, Lupe Fiasco, Common, Will Smith, Al Jarreau and George Benson and the Isley Brothers, among others.
Collaborations will serve as an appetizer for Scott's studio album, The Real Thing, due in summer 2007. A track from that project, The Real Thing (In Stereo), is featured on a CD sampler that will be bundled with Collaborations.
The lone date on Scott's upcoming tour schedule is Feb. 10 in Universal City, Calif., as part of the Roots' Annual Pre-Grammy bash. Lupe Fiasco is also on the bill for the event.
