Ugh! Can't a pop/rock song just be a hit anymore without having a rapper in it?

It can, but this is just an attempt to get more traction. I'm actually curious to hear the outcome.

B.o.B. is on a remix of this B.o.B joins the celebration on the remix to OneRepublic’s “Good Life,” a single from the band’s 2009 album Waking Up. Bobby Ray reminisces about hustling his way from the bottom to the top over the pop-rock jam. “This right here is the definition of timeless/ This is incredible at its finest,” boasts the ATL musician before throwing it back to Ryan Tedder and crew. The “Good Life” awaits.ROFL. So not needed. This was going to be the biggest hit off that old ass album anyway.

Heard the B.o.B. remix for the first time tonight via Z100. So crap! It ruins the song.

This already feels like the pop-rock song of the summer. It's ALWAYS on the radio and sounds great there. Just would have been better if this was a hit last summer instead since for us music fans this is so old. Imagine how good this would have sounded on the radio as brand new.

So glad this is becoming the smash hit it deserves to be. My only regret is that "All The Right Moves" and "Secrets" didn't precede it in going Top 10 (hopefully Top 5 soon), but it's still a victory.

This song's chart run reminds me of the 90's when songs would routinely break out from age-old forgotten albums and become big hits.

I wonder if they'll release "Marching On" next or just not release a follow-up.

I feel like this is going to be one of those songs that, ten years from now, people are going to say "Really? That wasn't #1?" It's such a great song, and it's been so ubiquitous in television and film of late, that I really see this being considered a classic in a couple of years.

The under-the-radar hits from this album are kind of funny. They seem ubiquitous in one way or another, but none of them were huge.
If only Ryan Tedder didn't suck so bad, I might be happier for them.
