No. 22 on iTunes. This is hot as hell.

This is hot and doing as well as "Lil' Freak" did on iTunes first week. And that one had airplay.
This is typical RedOne though. Not anything new.

this is FIRE! this should have made the physical album instead of being a digital bonus track, and this should have been the Pop single this era was really mismanaged

This is not on the album? I completely agree with you...This is the best choice for Pop single that I've heard so far.

Pop:

Did this even go for adds? Are they going to re-re-release the album to include this song? LMAO

They sent some random remix to radio. The original was fine.

Any chance it's the RedOne remix? It's MUCH better!

It is the RedOne mix

The RedOne mix is better, but it's still generic and awful. In contest for the era's worst single.

I guess I just don't understand the point of the remix or the release of another single. "Raymond v. Raymond" has pretty much run it's course, and his EP bombed. The original is only on the iTunes version of the album, and this remix isn't available digitally yet.

He's doing really well on Pop airplay and single sales, so I think it was a case of "Why not?"
Aside from that I think he released the EP for the same reasons. I doubt they expected it to do more than a fraction of Raymond v. Raymond anyway.

"DJ" was a really big hit and warrants a follow-up so I'm not surprised this is the song they went with. It won't be another smash but will keep his name out there for a little longer.

This has done a lot better than I would have expected, and it's still not done.
I can't get into this all the way still though.

I like the fact that he's managed a steady presence at pop radio this time around. I just think it's hilarious that they're all from unrelated releases, albums, EPs, remixes of bonus tracks.. Get it together Usher!
