Still inside the Top 10 of iTunes, currently at #7
Power rotation on Z100
How has this had such amazing selling power/longevity on iTunes?

It actually fell out of the Top 10 of the Hot 100. It's #12 this week.
It'll be back though.

It's a shame "Never Gonna Leave This Bed" couldn't be the single after "Moves Like Jagger" and this.

It's a shame "Never Gonna Leave This Bed" couldn't be the single after "Moves Like Jagger" and this. True. I'd love it if they re-released it but it was way too big at Hot AC to be released again.

Even though Adele prevented this from a #1 peak at Pop radio, this would have likely topped the chart at any other time.
I'm happy but surprised by HOW huge this is. Gym Class Heroes flopped hardcore with their last album. The song took a very slow start at radio. Now it's not only a hit but a major smash.

Someone nailed it earlier. The verses are so-so, but the pre-chorus is hot and best of all, the hook is one of the best I've heard all year. I'm so glad this became huge.
Who would have thought 6 months ago that the Gym Class Heroes, Maroon 5, Adele and Christina Aguilera would be occupying the Top 3 on CHR? LOL

Adam totally makes this song. If he weren't on it, it wouldn't have become this huge.

I also wonder how well this would have done if "Moves Like Jagger" never blew up.
Having said that, if someone like Bruno Mars did the hook it probably would have been just as big.

Wait... there's a pre-chorus here? To me it always sounds like it goes straight from the verses to the chorus.

The "If I could find a note to make you understand..." part was what I interpreted as the pre-chorus. I definitely agree that Adam makes the song. The hook's SO strong that it probably would have worked with someone else, but Adam was such a great choice. @ the thought of Bruno.

This is a hit song, no matter who recorded it. I always knew it would be a smash.

This song is lucky it's so good because I can think of few others that can sustain this kind of overplay. I'm usually in the car for no more than 10 minutes at a time, and without fail I know I'll hear this at least once per trip.
