Whoa... I just realized that this is already on iTunes. No sign of it on the chart there Also surprised this hasn't cracked Top 40 at Pop still. Not a good start, but this is definitely hit worthy. I think "Girls" really messed up the start of the era.

After hearing her album, this was not a good choice for the second single.

I think this should have been the lead single (though I haven't heard most tracks). This has the catchiness of a Pop song but the soulfulness of an R&B song because of the way she delivers it. The only weak part of this song is the pre-chorus... the melody there sounds a little jarring against the song at whole.

I think this is my favorite song from her. That says a lot. She's not hugely consistent, but she's got some excellent tracks.

I like this song. It's very poppy, the intro is really nice. It sounded like a hit to me on first listen but I'm not sure anymore.

She's singing that song to the British, letting them know that the US was not having that sh*t back in the 1700's.

Beyoncé makes a beautiful bride in the video for “Best Thing I Never Had,” the second single from her chart-topping album 4. In the first image from the Diane Martel-directed clip, B walks down the aisle in a white wedding gown before an unidentified man removes the veil covering her face.
Beyonce wears some sexy lingerie in the video for her latest song, “Best Thing I Never Had”!
The video also features Beyonce, 29, in a scene where she acts out a wedding, complete with an outdoor ceremony and fun filled reception.
The song comes off Beyonce’s latest album, 4, in stores and on iTunes now!
4 debuted at the top of the charts in the US, France, Spain, Switzerland, Singapore, Taiwan, and the UK this past week!
Bey is also the third artist ever to have her first four studio albums debut at the #1 spot on the charts.

I love the video and the song itself has really grown on me now. I hope this explodes soon.

It's scrapping Top 20 at the three main formats + iTunes but still doesn't have much traction. The bullets are fading at Urban and Rhythmic and not even the video release and the fact that she's interviewing on TV every.two.seconds. was able to push this to Top 10on iTunes for even a day.

Beyoncé kicked off her morning with some girl talk with the ladies of “The View.” Mrs. Carter sat down for an interview with Whoopi, Barbara, Joy, Sherri, and Elizabeth, and also performed two songs off her chart-topping album 4, including a stripped-down version of her latest single “Best Thing I Never Had” and the soulful “1+1” while perched atop a piano.
Catch more of B when she performs with The Roots on tonight’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”

This is recovering decently now. It's not the instant smash you'd expect from a Beyonce single that pre-leads a new album, but it's growing small but steady on the three formats and is now Top 20 on the Hot 100.
Chart run is kind of like "Halo."
