I would have never imagined this would be such a big hit. This has exploded everywhere. I'd easily call this the biggest hit of their career now. They've managed to top "This Love."

Congrats to Maroon 5 on their third CHR #1 and Christina on her fifth!
Still #1 on iTunes! This has turned out to be one of the biggest hits of the year. I'm not tired of it at all.

I think I've liked every Maroon 5 single more than this.

Agreed. Maroon 5's worst single with Christina yelling over half of it.

I loved this song instantly but I find it a bit annoying now, I still like it though. I definitely prefer "Misery".

They've definitely had way better songs than this. Even the singles off of their latest album were more enjoyable IMO.

I enjoy this single a lot but... They've definitely had way better songs than this. I'd consider this my fifth favorite M5 single, of sixth favorite if you count international releases... 01. She Will Be Loved 02. Never Gonna Leave This Bed (Must Get Out) 03. This Love 04. Sunday Morning 05. Moves Like Jagger

I'm pleasantly surprised by the success of this single. I really thought their career was over, but they came out with a song that really clicked with the public. Also, "The Voice" had some to do with reigniting their careers.

I agree that they've had better releases, but in retrospect, this is a total smash on paper. It's such a fun, feel-good song with a great hook, memorable catchphrases and, as Dave mentioned above, The Voice factor working in its favor. I hated it at first, but it's too joyous not to cave. And I'm not gonna lie, it's nice to hear Christina exercising control on something decent again after the crap she's released in recent years.

It's amazing to think this first hit #1 on iTunes on June 22nd (within hours of being released) and even though it slid down slightly it's remained in the Top 5 all summer and has been back at #1 for weeks now, in September.
With the single’s success on the Hot 100 chart, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has become the first artist in its 53-year history to reach #1 as part of a group and to enter the Top 10 at the same time as a soloist, as he is featured on Gym Class Heroes’ “Stereo Hearts”.
They are performing it on Ellen tomorrow.
Hit #1 today on the overall Audience chart:
1. MAROON 5 F/CHRISTINA AGUILERA - Moves Like Jagger: 120.148 (+ 2.520) ▲
The remix featuring Mac Miller officially going to iTunes & radio on October 4th!!!
Additionally a “Moves Like Jagger” remix, featuring rapper Mac Miller, will be available on October 4th on iTunes and radio. Maroon 5 is also set to perform on The Ellen Degeneres Show on September 21st.

It slid down WAY below the Top 5. It was in the 40's on iTunes at one point and below the Top 50 on the Hot 100 before it bounced back. But yes, this has been an incredible chart run.

In addition to being #1 at Pop radio already, this is the second greatest gainer on the entire chart.

I feel bad for them in the UK and Australia. This falls to #5 in Australia this week after spending TEN WEEKS at #2. And this spends a sixth week at #2 in the UK this week. Each week, there's been a new #1 that falls below MLJ the following week.

Reaches 150 mil Audience today
2. MAROON 5 F/CHRISTINA AGUILERA - Moves Like Jagger: 150.408 (+ 0.725)
Looks like it's gonna spent a 6th week at #1 on CHR as well
Slips to #2 in Canada after 10 weeks at #1
This is one of the biggest hits of the entire year, no question. It will be a contender for #1 song of 2011 on many year-end countdownts and lists, I would suspect.

Kind of a shame that a song of this magnitude won't have a follow-up.
