I wouldn't be surprised if it's a Howie Day cover. Sounds like something she'd enjoy screaming/dribbling on. I hope she doesn't ruin it.

Her new single is written by Autumn Rowe and produced by Sandy Vee (Firework, Only Girl (In the World)). It is said to debut this week.
Sandy Vee wrote: Ready for a big Leona Lewis song??? Stay tuned Sandy Vee wrote: @autumnband listening C....de I am so proud of you!!! It's magic. Btw B.g S...der is such a big song!!!!!! Miss u
When a fan asked Sandy if the name of the song was Collide, he replied: +1

Leona Lewis comes crashing back at full speed with “Collide,” the first single from her third album, due this November. Penned by Autumn Rowe (Alexis Jordan’s “Happiness”) and produced by Sandy Vee (“Firework,” “S&M”), the piano-driven number builds into a dance floor anthem, with the iron-piped diva belting about feeling an instant chemistry.
“It is a summer song that has a really good vibe,” explained the British songstress. “I just feel like dancing around to it. I love the energy and happiness I feel when I listen to it.”

This is better than anything off her second record. That it's penned by the same person who did "Happiness" and produced by the person behind "Firework" is no shock - it sounds exactly like a mash up of the two.

it seems like she pulled a Beyonce and recorded this song(it's a cover) without getting permission from the original singer.

Okay, I'm in full on love with this now. The instrumental is so good, no wonder they stole it, lol.
And for the first time, she actually looks pretty to me. She looks gorgeous in the video.

You guys should listen to "Fade Into Darkness" by Avicii. It's their song that she ripped this from. It's REALLY good. I prefer it much more to this.

leona's much more anthemic imo I think the "ooo ooo ooooo" parts of the Avicii one is so anthemic! Anyway this isn't the monster they wanted in the UK. It's a hit though. It debuts at #4 on the UK chart this week.
