This is his second single.
It's been popular for a while now and a fan favorite from long before he had a record deal.
This reminds me of Jason Mraz.

I like it, but it seems a little risky. I was expecting his second single to be a more hit-worthy version of "The A Team", but he's rapping about his haters, disses the Brit school and talks about crack? Who thought that was a good idea? The chorus is a Facebook status waiting to happen though, which is always a sign of a hit.

He performed this at a gig I went to in March with tons of other acts and the whole crowd knew this song word by word almost.
Most of his material is a lot closer to this than "The A Team."

The rest of his material sounds more like Jason Mraz to me than this. I don't even know who I'd compare this to. I guess that's part of the reason I'm unsure about it. Nothing else I've heard from him is quite this obnoxious. The message of the chorus is fine, I'm just surprised they didn't make him tone down the verses. I was expecting something more like "Firefly" with a catchier chorus or a beefed up "Sunburn".
