Officially goes for Pop adds on August 23rd 55 37 LADY GAGA You And I 990 288 702 7.157 +137 Spins +94 Bullet +0.861 Audience LADY GAGA - You And I: 8.116 (+ 1.072) Video premieres Thursday on MTV twitpic.com/662nmpThe wait for the “Yoü and I” music video is almost over! The highly-anticipated clip will make its debut on MTV this Thursday, August 18th at 7.50 p.m. EST. Following the premiere, Lady Gaga will make a special announcement from New York City.
Directed by the Haus of Gaga and choreographed by Laurieann Gibson, “Yoü and I” promises to be one of Gaga’s best works to date.
“The premise of the video is that I walked all the way from New York in this kind of almost wintry outfit to get to my man,” the singer revealed last month. “I’m walking down the highway and my feet are kind of bloody. There’s this fork in the road and it’s four different ways that I can go, but there’s lots of other things that can happen.”
“The video has a lot to do with bridging my past and my future as an artist,” she added. “Living halfway between reality and fantasy so there’s these sort of strange things that begin to occur in a barn in the middle of Springfield.”

Meh. I don't get the video at all, and the song is still boring as all hell.

Yet another video from Gaga that doesn't make any sense. But it's probably the best video so far this era.
The song is doing very well so far. I'm shocked.

The only reason I want this to do well is so that she can release "Hair" next. That song deserves to smash.

This was the only obvious hit on the album for me. Its a good song. Not shocked its doing well at all. I think people want a "normal" song from her for a change.

This, Bad Kids, and Heavy Metal lover are my favorite songs on the album. The album version of the song sounded like an immediate hit to me, so I'm not surprised either.

I agree with "Bad Kids" and "Heavy Metal Lover". This wasn't a favorite of mine until recently. This is undeniably catchy, hope this smashes.

This is doing well on iTunes, and it's definitely going Top 10 there after her VMA performance. But I still think this is going to peak in the teens. It's a little polarizing like "Judas."

I think this will go Top 10 at Pop but it will not do anything to restore her easy #1 status.

Cool song but I don't care for the video. I liked her a lot more during the early part of her 1st album.

I haven't even heard this on the radio yet. This may end up being the second biggest hit from the album so far. Wouldn't that be a shocker?

I HATE this now. It's amazing when I compare how much I loved her first few singles to how much I dislike the majority of her new stuff.

because she's full of her self now... before she was a nobody that wanted to make it big and that was her dirve but now she likes to play the "i am the embassador to all the underdogs" game, which is just silly especially when she keeps saying that people should accept who they are and what they are, and then goes on and cover her clear insecurtities by wearing all that crap so that she can feel protected and hide who she is.

I knew her schtick would get old, but I figured it would be around album number three or four. Either way, she's coming out of this with a multi-platinum album and a slew of top 10's, it could be worse I guess. But she needs to start recording material that sticks, none of this stuff is.
The album is the definition of "all over the place." Maybe she'll get her ducks in a row next time.
