This is the obvious choice. She needs it right about now because the first three singles from this project are so interchangeable and generic.

i don't think HIAM was generic at all.

HIAM was pretty generic IMO. It was just... flat.
I still don't get the hype with this song, it's just okay IMO. I think there are better single choices left. That said, I'm glad she's slowing down the pace, it's about time she switched it up.

Just listened for the first time. I like this! It's still electro pop but at least it's slowed down and sounds different than the other singles.
I'm not sure how this will do on the charts though. I don't think it's the guaranteed huge smash I was expecting based on reading this thread.

This actually reminds me of those "urban" Pop songs from 2001. I could picture it on a Backstreet Boys or *NSYNC album from around that time. Actually, this could fit in on the "Britney" album.

Actually, this could fit in on the "Britney" album. I was thinking that too.

It sounds very FutureSex/LoveSounds to me.

I hope this burns slowly, it's SO refreshing to hear electronic style urban/pop.

She gets more annoying to me with each successive single

Anything but confirmed (although I wish it was, because it'd be her best single since "Toxic"). The rumor came from a tweet from a very unreliable source that makes crap out about Britney all the time, and the biggest Britney fan website picked it up and acted like it was legit because the webmaster probably wants it to be a single and thinks he has sway.

Sony Music Poland :
Europeans will get 'Criminal' as the 4th single from Britney's new album 'Femme Fatale' while Americans got 'Inside Out'. We don't know anything about the radio premiere or video yet.

You would think they would've sent "Criminal" here and "Inside Out" in Europe.
I like this now but I'm not sold on it being a smash. This is definitely the least instant of the four singles.
