She'll be performing it on Ellen next week. The video is coming soon too. I think the single itself will be fine, but this song is definitely not going to make anyone run out and buy her album.

Agreed. I think this is more of her "get her name out there" single, almost like a heater single except it's doing too well to call it that now. I'm hoping it will be the "Breakaway" to a follow-up smash second single. It'd be smart of the label to mirror this era after that one, which was her most successful yet.

Holding on at No. 45 on iTunes. Atleast it's not free-falling like "Not Myself Tonight" and "Run The World". Maybe this will turn into a moderate hit.

^ Kind of sums up the song too - boring song, but she sounds great.

I'm glad she's starting to look hot again. The dancers in this performance are LOL-worthy though. I couldn't stop laughing

That's the best she's looked in a long while. That said, I can just imagine all of the football fans going "WTF is this!?" (especially with the dancers).

Cheesy dancers like that are pretty much a halftime show staple in the US, I had no idea that was a thing in Australia too.

She looks like she had an awful talk shop makeover. Who is styling her? Geesh

She sounded good. This is top 20 on iTunes now. Hopefully this will be a little bigger by the time the album is released.

I don't understand why this was chosen as the lead single. It's a nice enough track, but it sounds nothing like the rest of the album, and when all is said and done it's kind of boring.

I absolutely love this song, better than all the singles off her last album barring "Already Gone."
But this is such a slow burner, they definitely needed something more immediate.

Definitely this is better than all the singles from All I Ever Wanted. It should be performing so much better right now.

^ She's been out of the public eye for a while now, and it's a different sound for her, so I'm not surprised it isn't as big as MLWSWY. This would've worked better as a follow up single - it just doesn't have the "oomph" required of a lead Kelly single.

This is a nice song in and of itself, but I can't believe her label thought this was the type of song to ignite excitement for an album era. MLWSWY was a song you knew would smash from the first listen, and that's what they needed here.

That being said, I don't even think "What Doesn't Kill You" has enough "oomph" to be the first single. This album is filled with second singles, but nothing to draw anyone in.

Completely agree. It's not exactly bad, just boring. She needed a first single that put her back in the spotlight but I think her team was very scared of having another "Never Again".
