Did a search and could find absolutely no discussion on this lady? I know the controversy surrounding her, I know the bloggers are up in arms for being 'mislead' , I know she's really Lizzy Grant from Lake Placid and I know her dad is some hotshot domainer, and she's signed to Interscope but my god this is an amazing tune! We all know anyone can get lucky and write one amazing tune but not have anything to back it up with (the archetypal one hit wonder) but the amazing thing here is she has other tunes just as good/even better. IMO the big new thing for 2012. It's not even much of a prediction TBH.

I think it's actually been more or less proved that she isn't exactly Indie either, lol. Up to the mods if they want to move this...

I love this and wouldn't be surprised AT ALL if this becomes a big Pop hit in 2012.

Not a big fan of "Video Games". I prefer "Born to Die" and "Off to the Races".

This is good, but "Born to Die" is much better.

#65 on iTunes
I wonder why this isn't getting sent to radio in her home country even though it's been a hit internationally already. It's just strange to see this getting no American release when she's actually American.

I really hate this. There are elements of this that aren't awful, but overall it's just incredibly dreary. The only times I have been able to make it through the song are when I'm distracted and barely register that it's playing.

Lana redeemed herself on Letterman last night! Stunning performance. And Dave seems to be in love, too (know how he feels! )

Yes, she did nicely on Letterman. Now if only this was seen by all the people who saw the SNL performance.

I'm addicted to this song. Hope it blows up.

There's still no plans to send this for adds. That's one major reason why she's selling less in the US than other markets. Her single was STILL never serviced to radio and meanwhile Europe has had TWO singles delivered to radio already.

I heard this isn't considered a "real single". They want "Blue Jeans" to be her official first single.
Hilarious as she has an album out with no actual single on the radio.

Yes, the singles strategy in the US is a real mess at the moment. My theory is Interscope were delaying in an attempt to distance her from the SNL debacle. Anyway, Blue Jeans IS apparently the debut single in the US and will go for adds early next month. Beautiful video.

Goes for adds where? I can't hear this on any format.

Sounds like Interscope's strategy for her is the exact opposite of Keri's or Nicole's, i.e. put out an album months ahead of finding a single that sticks. I do hope she has some U.S. success though.
