Live version:
Sounds like it's going to be on the upbeat side for them. I can't tell much from a live version but the melody is promising.

It's an upbeat one for sure. Exactly what they need.

It's nice enough, but I feel like "epic" is overstating it just a tad.

I've missed them. This is OK on first listen. I'm not sure this will be a huge Pop hit.

It has a lot of the elements that made some of their previous songs big hits, but I'm not sure they it uses them well enough. It's kind of boring, really.

I like this but it doesn't do enough for me. I usually want to repeat all of their songs right away. Instead this gives me more Lifehouse vibes- pleasant but kind of bland.

I don't find this any less than their previous stuff, it's pretty much in the same vein

Surprised it's doing so well. I guess they're a bigger name than I thought.

Love this. It's not inventive at all, but I don't care. It's just nice to have them back. Now let's see if Top 40 is smart enough to catch on.

This is struggling to even go Top 10 at Hot AC. I'm sad to see them having such a difficult time.

Hot AC has really been punishing its core acts recently for releasing underwhelming, recycled material. Daughtry, Nickelback and The Fray have all struggled to scrape the Top 10. I guess now that programmers have realized how much crossover appeal certain rhythmic material has...it's really not 2005 anymore. This is easily the best out of the three song I mentioned, but I actually think Nickelback's was the most "adventurous," if only melodically.

The most puzzling one for me is "Paradise" by Coldplay. It's the second biggest hit of their career at both Alternative radio and in the UK, they're a core act, and it's been selling well at iTunes and from an album still in the Top 10.... but Hot AC radio is selecting Selena Gomez and Gym Class Heroes instead?
