This guy has SO much hype in the UK. Pretty sure this song will be a UK #1 (it's been popular already for months). I also think it will be a US hit in 6 months time.

This is nice, but I'm not blown away.

LOVE this. It's such a grower. And yeah, he's one of those artists that really disparate people seem to like.

Love Ed Sheeran. Amazing talent and only 20 years old.

Love Ed Sheeran. Amazing talent and only 20 years old. bellboys you predicted that James Blunt and Adele would get US #1's months before it seemed possible for either. Do you think Ed could be next?

Hehe. Put it down to luck with those 2 as i just got a 'feeling' (although I'm not in any way psychic, lol) . With Ed I don't get that feeling. Which is not to say he won't (get to #1 that is). PS Don't forget i also got a 'feeling' that Arctic Monkeys would be massive in the US

It sounds like a cross between Jason Mraz, Gavin DeGraw, and all those random light-rock bands featured on The Hills. (Checking out the rest of his material I now think he;s so British, but "The A Team" still sounds SO American to me). Thing is it's a sound that was bigger a few years ago... but that goes even more so for the UK market where this still got to #3.

This is having amazing staying power in the UK. It's still #3 on iTunes. It's been in the Top 5 there for well over a month now.

#2 on iTunes UK. This is the highest it's been yet and it's well over a month into its chart run (must be closer to two months at this point.) That's a rarity on the UK chart these days.

I would imagine the thanks for the sales spike must go to the lovely Birdy and her IMO incredible cover of the song on Live Lounge on Radio 1 last week.

His label is guarding this from file sharing websites like I've never seen before. They must be planning a big US push soon. Can't wait! I think this will be a big American hit still.

This goes for adds at AAA later this month. It's already pulled in a few minor Hot AC adds too.
