From "Talk That Talk." Produced by Da Internz. Written by The-Dream.
Strip club JAM! I think it's stupid that this is under 2 minutes though. The-Dream already said they're working on a full version.

Yeah, why the hell is this only an interlude? Skrippa anthem.

I've listened to this like 20 times since yesterday. Instant classic. The "can't wait to blow my candles out" line KILLS me.
How did no one realize this needed to be a full song?

I legitimately feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone right now. I don't even know where to start.

I hope their careers both crumble. They don't deserve anything that they have... except for each other.

I'm honestly at a loss. I wouldn't call myself a Rihanna stan/lamb, but she's released some of my favorite pop records of the last five years...she's probably become my favorite pop female in the industry. So from that vantage point, I don't want her career to crumble.
That being said, I'm totally disgusted not only by these two collaborations, but her attitude and all of the leadup to this mess. By that token, I'd love to see some backlash come her way.
This will go down as a turning point in her career, and not a positive one. She has some BAD - no, make that HORIRBLE - publicity coming her way. I'm still in disbelief that her team somehow allowed this to transpire.

As a big time Rihanna supporter, I feel this collaboration is a total slap in the face. Her Stunt Queen moves in regards to this release is so disappointing considering I feel she put out her strongest material yet with this album and should let the music speak for itself. I hope this flops hardf**kingcore and this is a wake up call.

Just made another horrifying realization. The original and remix feature Rihanna singing the lyric "I know you wanna bite this." You might recall from the assault police report that Chris bit Rihanna's fingers and ear The lack of self-awareness they're exhibiting is startling, to say the very least.

Well, in fairness, it doesn't appear they had much say-so over this remix's release. Having said that, I agree that this era is a total wreck. Amazing to think that what an album packed with no-brainer hits could become such a clusterf**k.

+687 bullet at Urban
At this point, this era is so far beyond ridiculous that it's almost surreal. The worst part of BC smashing is that I'm sure Rihanna will feel 100% validated and rub it in IDJ's faces for opposing the remix and release.

Rihanna caused a firestorm when she released the remix to “Birthday Cake” featuring ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. Now get the recipe behind the year’s most-talked-about collaboration from hitmaking duo Da Internz.
Marcos “Kosine On Da Beat” Palacios and Ernest “Tuo” Clark didn’t have enough time to finish the original track in order to make the cutoff for Rihanna’s album Talk That Talk. So after demand from the fans, the pop star decided to record an extended version of the interlude and release it online.
In an exclusive sit-down with Rap-Up TV, the producers shared how the controversial collaboration came together, explained why they initially refuted Chris’ involvement when asked on Twitter, and brushed off the criticism.
“We delivered a damn smash,” said Tuo. “Everybody’s getting caught up in the fact that it is Rihanna, it is Chris, it’s a duet, but don’t lose sight of the fact that before Chris hits and does the extended version of ‘Birthday Cake,’ we had a minute and some change of a record that the world was saying, ‘We need this.’”
