I don't know. I really wanted to love this because I really like her, but the production is actually really bad to me and that kills the song. Those little effects during the latter part of the chorus really grate on my nerves. She's done better.

I can't get into the song. She sounds horrible and is way too slow.

the opening line of this is so bad...the way she "sings" it.

I actually love the strained vocals. To each his own, but I feel like I can really feel her passion in the straining. Not everything is meant to have pure and pristine vocals.

I've gotten used to the vocals, simply because I love this song. It's on track to become one of my favorite singles of the year.
I just hope her voice isn't shot.

This is definitely one of my favorite singles of the year right now. This is a great song for fall, too.

I definitely think this is overrated. I haven't even listened to it since it leaked.

i like this a lot... i think the complaints stem from two things: it's a new sound for her (production wise), and her vocals are belting the whole time. there is something in it that calls to mind "Where is the love?" this actually has a european pop sound to it, IMO

This is an okay song, gives me the same feeling I had about "Unbreakable", I wanna hear the stuff she did with John Mayer and Chad Hugo.

LOL. I don't understand how people are saying this is overrated when most of the comments I've seen/heard about this song on first listen have been "WTF is this sh*t?"
But anyway I really like this now. The whole song just sounds like an anthem.

I just want you close Where you can stay forever You can be sure That it will only get better You and me together Through the days and nights I dont worry cause Everythings gonna be alright People keep talking They can say what they like But all I know is everything's gonna be alright
No one no one no one Can get in the way of what I'm feeling No one no one no one Can get in the way of what I feel for you You you Can get in the way of what I feel for you
When the rain is pouring down And my heart is hurting You will always be around This I know for certain
You and me together Through the days and nights I dont worry cause Everythings gonna be alright People keep talking They can say what they like But all I know is everything's gonna be alright
No one no one no one Can get in the way of what I'm feeling No one no one no one Can get in the way of what I feel for you You you Can get in the way of what I feel for you
I know some people search the world To find something like what we have I know people will try Try to divide Something so real So till the end of time Im telling you that
No one no one no one Can get in the way of what I'm feeling No one no one no one Can get in the way of what I feel for you oh oh oh....

I honestly think this is going to be one of her biggest crossover hits because it's so instantly familiar, catchy, and safe. The lyrics are slightly juvenile for Alicia, but it sounds like something Akon would do (I immediately thought of "I'm Sorry") with Mary J style production. Did she write this with Bryan Michael Cox? It really sounds like it.
