Massive bullet at #14. Looks like it's going to be a #1 if it can keep it up. Supposedly "Wasted" is going to be the next single. Even though that's my favorite song on the album, I wanted "Before He Cheats" first. I just don't know if it's a great idea to release two ballads in a row. It works for some artists, but it's always a risk.

It's nice to see country embracing her but this song is pretty crappy.

I really like this song. Carrie's voice is IMHO amazing. I do wish she would release an uptempo followup single though.

I love Carrie and this song. My second favorite on the album. Hopefully this will at least make top 10, maybe even top 5.

I give Carrie props for releasing a religious song as her first single and being able to make a smash out of it.

It works for some artists, but it's always a risk. I heard that they were going with that order because they thought the change in personality and lyrics from "Jesus Take The Wheel" to "Before He Cheats" would be too jarring and that the label believed Carrie needed to have a transition song in between. Who knows how well that will work.

I would think that with Sara Evans having "Cheatin" out right now that maybe they wanted to wait and let that song completely die because it is a slow mover and is behind JTTW. This song might peak before Sara's and a new single would be released before Cheatin settled down. Just my opinion.

Before He Cheats makes me like country music again, like the brief odd stage i had when i was a junior in high school.

This is an awesome song. I hope (and think) it'll go #1 on country. The video though is horrible.

Very glad that country took onto Carrie. I thought after the flop of "Inside Your Heaven" and then the cross-genre singles that Nashville would kick her out. But, obviously not! Here's to Carrie's first #1!

Carrie isn't laying on a couch. I think some random woman is though, with the baby. It would've of been better if they'd of been in a car, like the lyrics state!

does anyone else notice that during her performances of "Jesus, Take The Wheel" that her two back-up singers are way too loud, and not that good. I mean I hear Carrie and she would sound JUST fine without them, why are they there? They make the performance not as good, esp since one's a guy.

^ Yep. Those back-up singers are obnoxious. It's almost like the performance is a duet, and they are louder than Carrie most of the time. She doesn't even need any back-up with that song.

I don't really hear it in the studio recording. But then again, I'm kinda deaf, so can someone give me the time if it is in the studio recording? By the way, I just saw the video, and it wasn't as bad as I thought. Carrie sure looks pretty in it!

How did her bullet suddenly decrease so much? I guess the initial "New American Idol Single" hype wore off. Shame...

How did her bullet suddenly decrease so much? Bullets are deceiving. Don't worry. Her audience is up big over the last few days. The reason the bullet decreased was because we have started a new week and the numbers are reset.

The numbers never get reset. It's a rolling chart.

The numbers never get reset. It's a rolling chart. Yes, I know that. But the numbers start from last Sunday, and that change in day always throws off the bullet, because now its a true week's gains. It's hard to explain to someone that doesn't watch the charts lol.
