This is an okay song. It is definitely my least favorite Carrie single to date.

Not my favourite song of the album (and I think I might have an aneurysm if they don't release "Get Out of This Town"), but I do like it, and at least it isn't on the level of the "huh?" that was the release of "Don't Forget to Remember Me." I definitely think this will connect with listeners.

"Get Out of This Town" should've been released if they were going for a more uptempo song. I don't know what they were thinking with this single choice.

Does someone at her label not like her............"Flat On The Floor" should have been next single hands down!

I'm not even sure that this is the type of song that will sell records. It's uptempo, but it's not that great and it drags a big IMO. Really, with Taylor Swift biting on Carrie's tail for the IT girl status in country music, I thought they would release something hotter to blow Taylor out of the water.

Should have gone with "Flat on the Floor."

I knew this was coming, so it's not a big shock. I think it's an ok choice, but I would have preferred FOTF. As long as JAD is the third single, I won't mind.

something is so stereotypically country about this song...the lyrics, I think.

It's not repulsive... I thought it was going to be after reading all the comments.

I don't think anyone was suggesting that it was repulsive. Everyone has their choices for the follow-up though, and there weren't too many hoping for this one.

Indeed, it really reminds me of "Don't Forget to Remember Me" in the way. But, unlike that song, I don't think it's a bad choice (DFTRM is the only song from Some Hearts, disregarding "Inside Your Heaven" and "Some Hearts" which were never Country singles, which didn't get to #1 on Mediabase). It does sound like a hit to me, it's just there are more deserving tracks on the album.

Personally, "Don't Forget To Remember Me" was second only to "Wasted" on Some Hearts.

DFTRM was the sh*t! Definitely way better than JTTW IMO.

Don't get me wrong, I like the song, but there were tracks that more obviously screamed second single - most notably "Wasted" and "Before He Cheats," which of course did end up being singles. It just seemed absolutely wrong at the time.

Oh, yeah. I agree to that extent. I would have made "Don't Forget To Remember Me" the fourth single, but I definitely think it should have been a single.

Oh, sure I agree with that. DFTRM was a great song, but other songs on that album were practically BEGGING to be singles. DFTRM should've been a single still though.

#102 on itunes Its a good song, but I think there were other songs that should have been singles over this. Maybe the want to do some sort of promo with American Idol or something. Flat On The Floor is my personal favorite though. Its up there with Wasted & I Aint In Checotah Anymore as my favorite Carrie song.

Haha. Nice "Before He Cheats" tribute. She also looks amazing with her hair down straight and dyed brown. She should keep that look for her next album.
