Okay Mariah, we forgive you for the not-so-good mixes of ILT and the lukewarm mixes of WBT and the trainwreck mix by Gomi of SIO. This new mix makes up for all of those.
Dare I say it, this one is better than all of the DFAU mixes. Okay. Quentin and Ralphi's mixes are awesome for that one.
This mix really takes me back to the salad days of Morales' fabuous remixes. It's too bad he's only doing selective work.

yeah it is great. I can clearly see why many DJ's were raving about it 1 year ago.
i like and appreciate say something MORE now because of this remix. and that "baby i'm ready to go" *DROOLS* - so sexy the way mariah says it !
see the difference new vocals can make. about her vocals - so clear and strong !!!! i'm taken back to early mariah vocals this remix shows her vesatility - from the deep register, to belting, to whistles
it would be great if they included these new Say Something dance mixes on a "stay the night" cd single (if and when stay the night is released overseas) or better, release it to dance stations as a dance-only single.

Wow! This might just edge out the Moran mix of "Don't Forget About Us" for me. It's the best Mariah mix I've heard from him since "My All". It's amazing what they did with it because I'm not a big fan of the album version. She should have sung the original like this.

I want Mariah to do what Madonna does with her albums and release more mixes to the clubs than she does singles to radio. I think she needs to get dance mixes of "Stay The Night," "Say Somethin'" and "Get Your Number" to the clubs next year.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I think this is a little overrated. Her vocal sounds really clear, but tired. Like she's not putting enough stomach into it or something. I like how it's dark, though, and I really like how the verses were resung all low and sexy.

I changed my mind already. I freaking love this. She sounds so fresh, which was why it sounded off to me at first. She sounds young...then again, this was recorded a year ago, not long after the tour ended. Her adlibs are so oldschool. This HAS to be released to dance radio/the clubs, even if it's not the next single.

While I don't want her to do all her songs like that, it's nice to have it every so often. This takes me back to the days of when she would re-sing the vocals in this whole other way (think of the "Dreamlover" and "Fantasy" Morales mixes). This mix would be perfect in the clubs and on dance radio stations. I can already see this spending a few weeks at the top spot on both charts. They could release this as a club-only single the way "Fly Away (Butterfly Reprise)" was released back in 1998.

more mixes! more! ... this one is very nice. "say something" has always been one of the catchier songs in the album. and this remix doesn't disappoint...

I would love to hear the Peter Rauhofer and Junior Vasquez mixes of this now, but I have to say that they both have their work cut out for them to out do Morales' mix! I swear the more I listen to this the more I love it, and low quality or not this is in my top 10 for mixes of 2005.

I'll kill if this isn't released commercially or to clubs.

I'll kill if this isn't released commercially or to clubs. That's a bit drastic. But this one has the potential to do really well.
