This is taking off on US iTunes. I don't like it at all. Sounds like another Fiest or Ingrid Michaelson. We have way too much of that garbage already.

This is horrible. I hate when artists have REALLY thick accents and try to sing in English.

....and this is taking off because it's featured in the new Macbook Air commercial.

I can't help if Apple will ever use a song that I actually like in one of their commercials. I can't believe I'm going to have to listen to this for the next 4 months.

#5 on iTunes
Holy sh*t! This is going to be another situation like Feist where it outpeaks all these huge hits on the Hot 100 one week and is off the chart for good three weeks later. Definitely the negative side of downloads.

This is not the type of song that can translate downloads into airplay either. This is completely disposable and will be forgotten by this time next month, but could peak Top5 on the Hot 100.

Boring... Still it's better than the Flo Rida track, and Nickelback's "Rockstar" which is currently #1 on iTunes UK.

Debuts at #9 on the Hot 100
When was the last time a French singer (or an Israeli one for that matter) was top ten on the Hot 100?

Music is the only thing that makes sense anymore... play it loud enough, it keeps the demons at bay.

[/size] Is it wrong of me to call conspiracy and suggest that Apple MADE this song #1 because it's featured in a MacBook ad? Either way, song is pure garbage. ==TJ==

But wasn't there a huge advert for the song on the front page of iTunes? TV adverts can be just as effective at promoting a song as airplay
