Glad to hear the the song is going to radio in top form. It should be a no-brainer. I wonder if this will go to Pop seeing how "Perfect Situation" flopped there despite being very pop-friendly.

I just heard this on G-Rock. This was my first time hearing it on regular FM radio (satellite radio has been on it for months). It's definitely a strong radio single!

Carl (the guy in charge of the official site) replied to a fan e-mail and said that Geffen are really going to push this one because they think it has huge hit potential. I expect this to blow up on pop by June.

I expect this to blow up on pop by June. That's really encouraging. I'm glad they realize the type of song they have on their hands. Any word on a video yet?

The latest update from the Weezer site:
I honestly don't think the band has anything to do with this single, especially considering Rivers has been in school this semester. Hopefully they'll pull together for a video, though. If not, Geffen could always use live footage.

I hear this all the time already. There wasn't even a growth period. It was just put right into high rotation.

This is sitting at #51 and doesn't even have a triple digit bullet. Not good for a song by a band like Weezer that already went for adds.

If this flops, it will be one of the biggest injustices in the history of rock music.

It's moving slowly through the 40's and the bullet keeps decreasing.

Wtf. This is too good to flop. I thought it would be a bonafide smash. But i guess it's not doing so well because it's a 4th single. I hope it's a slow riser.

at this flopping. I guess it's too dance-rock for Alt. radio

at this flopping. I guess it's too dance-rock for Alt. radio That certainly explains the success of The Killers last year.

Well recently a lot of dance-rock groups like Hard-Fi and The Editors have been flopping. The Killers are among the very few that have managed to have success on Alt. radio.

Hard-Fi and The Editors are foreign acts on smaller labels that are getting minimal promotion. The Killers and Weezer are on major labels that have no problems when it comes to promotion. Weezer is choosing not to promote this single and Rivers didn't want to go four singles deep anyway. I'm not going to blame this entirely on Alternative radio. Rivers is basically fighting this single the same way Brandon fought "Smile Like You Mean It" while it was blowing up.

Editors... just Editors.
I don't even think they're dance rock by the way.
