My first reaction to the song - "What the hell? Is this Finger Eleven or Franz Ferdinand?" It's obviously heavily influenced by Franz Ferdinand Good song. Obvious ripoff of Franz Ferdinand I don't think of Franz Ferdinand when I listen to this at all

Really? It sounds like a total frat-rock remake of "Take Me Out" to me, especially the guitar riff. It's like they loved the song but felt like they had to make it "macho" with the cursing and the hilariously pretentious lyrics about how they hate this stupid club and how much it sucks.

Yeah I definitely noticed the "Take Me Out" similarity when I first heard this, even if that was like a year and a half ago at this point :/ I won't even try and defend the lyrics, but all in all I still really kinda like this song. Whether it deserves to be on the chart for two years is another story.

I guess I can kind of hear it. It's definitely not something I would have noticed on my own. It's probably just me, though.

The lyrics are truly awful. If the song weren't so catchy I'd be mortified just to listen to them. Also LMFAO-worthy - this is going to go recurrent at Pop before it falls out of the Top 10 at Alternative. Mind you, it also entered the chart at Pop after it did at Alternative.
