I'm really enjoying this album at the moment; it's sort of garage rock. The first single "U.R.A. Fever" is the worst track on the album for me. It's a bit too reminiscent of a crimp from The Mighty Boosh The second single, "Cheap And Cheerful" is great, though; I'm also loving "Tape Song", "What New York Used To Be", and "Goodnight Bad Morning".

This album isn't all the way there for me, but I must say they do improve with each album.

This is probably my favorite album of the year. Yeah, this is close to being my fav now too, it gets so good after repeated listens. If they had dropped "M.E.X.I.C.O." and "Alphabet Pony," there wouldn't be a single track to skip IMO. And I totally have to agree with Pitchfork, "Last Day Of Magic" is one of the best rock songs this year. The only song that comes close for me is "Time To Pretend" by MGMT.

Thanks for the links! Those songs are hot. "Superpowerless" reminds me of Garbage or something.
"Sour Cherry" needs to be the next single.

The fourth single is "Black Balloon". Good, even though I wanted "Sour Cherry".

Yeah, I wanted "Sour Cherry" too, but "Black Balloon" isn't a bad choice.
I'm really enjoying the bonus track "Night Train" at the moment. It should have been on the album

I didn't think so at first, but Blood Pressures has surpassed MB as their best album. The highlights on MB were catchier, but this album is the definition of consistent, not a skippable track on the LP. Lyrically stronger as well.
Hands down the best album this year IMO. Why aren't they bigger, ugh.
