I really like this song. It's definitely my favorite English Shakira single. Too bad it appears to need CPR on the charts right now. Hopefully, this will be a case of slow and steady winning the race.

It's been picking up and slowing down over and over. I'm hoping that when the album comes out, her digital single sales will see a nice jump, which will hopefully in turn boost her bullet.

lol @ the fat free line.
This is a pretty good song but I wish they had released something different as her first single.

I was listening to her album clips and nothing really sounded like a hit even though the songs sounded good. America obviously loves ass shaking sexpot Shakira and there's not much of that on Oral Fixation 2. "Illegal" is probably my second favorite, but it's way too subdued to be a hit.

Hmm, I love the song. I'm not sure why it's not doing big business.

I love this song and am sad it's not doing better on the charts. After hearing the sound clips from the album, Shakira is definitely going back to her rock-pop days of DELL, except for Timor. I loved all of the clips and think Sony should take a chance and release Timor. It's an amazing song and it's got a great beat.

I loved this, loved this, and loved this but she KILLED the love I had for the song with such a bad video. So I don't care anymore. I'm so buying her album though.

I'm quite disappointed at this song's chart run. Sure it's not her strongest effort, but when tripe like "Stickwitu" can do so well it just screams wrong.

I am very sad this is struggling at radio and hope that it picks up in the next two weeks. And I may be in the minority, but I love this video. This is by far my favorite English video of hers. She looks hot playing her pink guitar and the "story" in the video is hysterical.

I love the Don't Bother video as well and think it's her best English one. I love the guitar scene and wish she would duplicate it in some of her promotional performances.

I would love if she played the guitar in some of her promotional appearances. She hasn't done that since Te Dejo Madrid and never did it in the U.S.

Nice! Finally it's picking up. This could indicate that it'll really blow up at iTunes in a few days with the album release.

I hope so too. I f**kin' love it! ... up to #21 on itunes! I'm happy for her, but I never understand how songs all of sudden rocket at iTunes. I understand after a performance or being used in a TV show or something, but to my knowledge Shakira has done nothing new with this song in the past few days. So, basically I don't get how all these people are suddenly DLing it all at once when they could have for 2 weeks now... but I'm happy they are.

LOL. I know, music buyers move in mysterious ways! Airplay increase, TRL exposure and Album pre- orders add on itines front page might helped the downloads. Whatever the reason it is, I am happy this is finally picking up. It is such a good song!

The front page add makes a lot of sense. That's probably a major part of it. And her album has been getting really good reviews so that's probably helping too.

I wonder if the new ads on TV are helping as well. There are two different Verizon ads with Don't Bother and a really goofy Yahoo! ad with Don't Bother as well.
I think that TV ads in the past have helped songs jump up on iTunes (Jesus Walks due to the Jarhead movie ads, Lose Yourself iTunes ad, etc.).
