When it comes to her 80's uptempos, I always hear "How Will I Know" and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," but this one is actually my favorite. Peaked at #1 on the Hot 100 and #5 R&B. I really like the David Morales remix of this one as well.

I don't like any of her 80's uptempo pop hits and they've dated horribly. Honestly my favorite 80's uptempo by her is "Thinkin' About You" which went Top 10 R&B and never crossed over to CHR/Pop. Kashif did great production work on that one that holds up more as what was overlooked in the 80's as opposed to what we might want to leave behind in the 80's.

I loved this song and all of her 80s hits. Most of her 80s songs were flawless!

I was not a fan of the original at all. Loved the vocals. The Lenny Bertoldo Mix was great.

I love this song intro....so sexy!!
But I agree, her 80's uptempos are too cheesy, sweet....

I was too young to be listening to music when this first came out, so I don't remember it, but listening to her hits now, this is definitely one of the standouts of her career IMO, camp though it may be.

In terms of her uptempos, I'd rank this second favorite after "I Wanna Dance With Somebody".
