Ugh, I can't stand this song.
And on a related note, everything about this chick is AWFUL.

I can't stand the verses, but once the pre-chorus and chorus kick it, it gets pretty catchy,

I agree, this should have definitely been the first single.

And I'm scared to death about what they're going to do with the video Please tell me he's not going to try and be sexy in it. I CAN'T.

The production and chorus are good. OMFG at the verses though, so embarrassing.
"Somebody To Love" is still his best single IMO. Pretty much the only song by him I can listen to with a straight face.

Falls apart for me in the last minute, but everything before that is hot.

I loved their last two albums. Can't wait for this. The first single is ACE.

I know! I love the verses to this, but the chorus makes me cringe. I don't understand why her fans are salivating over this.

I love this song, I agree, easily one of her best.
That being said, WHAT THE F**K is that yodeling crap at the beginning. Seriously knocks it down a letter grade.

This has really grown on me with repeated listens, love the second part of the chorus.
The vocals really need to be beefed up though, so thin and they are overwhelmed by the production.

Here's what she said on Carson Daly. 923now.radio.com/2012/02/10/madonna-talks-super-bowl-m-i-a-apology-and-new-album-with-carson-daly/I was up in the bleachers doing my pom pom routine. I was oblivious. In fact, I didn’t really know about it until after I had come backstage and changed and came out to finish watching the football game…I was surprised, nobody knew about it. She surprised us all. I like her and you know I believe in people having individuality and I like her punk rock attitude. Actually I think she’s really cool and that’s why I asked her to be in my show and be on my record. But I didn’t think that was the time or the place for it, to tell you the truth. That’s the unfortunate thing and we were really careful to be super honest and the NFL was super honest with us about what we could and couldn’t do and I had no interest in rocking the boat or doing anything to offend anybody. We were all clear on that and it was a joyous evening…not the place for it. It felt like a negative note, you know what I mean? And apparently MIA apologized: Yeah, yeah. She has. I know she feels bad…I accept her apology, but you know, I think she still has her head in the sand right now. I’m not sure.

I think this whole thing is ridiculous, it was just a middle finger! But, in her defense, the NFL was explicit with her, no controversy. And she was explicit in all of her interviews preceding the performance, there would be no controversy. And then MIA pulled her stunt and Madge got a little egg on her face. I can see why she's annoyed.
And I agree, the stunt took attention AWAY from Madonna, which is probably what she's really pissed about, lmao.

I'm with the "meh!" concensus on this one. Just boring. It's in the same vein as "Airplanes" and "Coming Home."

There's been buzz around this song for a few months, with the Glee episode and it making moves at radio. The SB commercial was that final push over the edge.
Granted it was a gigantic push, lol. But there's no doubt in my mind this was destined to be a huge hit. The freaking chorus, jesus.

It actually gets worse on repeated listens. The production is so bad. And the lyrics are RIDICULOUS. Why are they singing about macbooks and facebook in a f**king song. I hope this flops and teaches them both a lesson.

This isn't flopping in the UK, its ineligible to chart because of rules involving preorders.
