I love the strings in this one. Released in the UK on 13th September on CD and download, taken from the forthcoming album Do You Want The Truth Or Something BeautifulFollow up to UK #17 hit "Stone Cold Sober"

To be fair, she could have released anything off the album - it's so incredibly solid all the way through.
Hopefully this will be the one that breaks her into the UK Top 10!

Awful, he's absolutely massacred Olive's 1997 original.

I liked "Heartbreak" - think I charted it to about #4 or something, it suffered because it was out when I was on holiday so missed the promo and instead got bombarded by European dance music.

I charted it last year, but it flopped badly on my chart. I have the album today though with the "Re-Complete Me" extra bonus CD too! ;D

Ouch at Girls Aloud on the airplay chart. "The Promise" actually went up while the current single slid down. I wonder where "Untouchable" will end up peaking. I think with the radio edit being held back until next week, "Untouchable" will certainly make the Top 20 - whether it just misses out on the Top 10 or not depends on a few factors. CD sales of around 3K (that's what "The Loving Kind" sold in it's opening physical week) aren't going to push them very far sadly.

Very good, I can only hope that she takes off as well as La Roux has!

I like this a lot, but I prefer "We Are The People" at the moment! ;D

Great song, not sure why they're releasing this as unless they release a brilliant physical package it is certain to break their consecutive Top 10 run.

Damn leaks! I've only heard the single "Daniel" so far, but although that's not AMAZING I am still looking forward to listening to the full album. ;D

The third single to be taken from their self-titled debut will be a re-worked version of "Skeleton Boy". This follows UK No.100 hit "Jump In The Pool", and the failed-to-chart classic that is "Paris", which was re-released last November after failing to chart previously, and failed to chart.. again.
Here is a music video (directed by Clemens Habicht) to accompany the forthcoming single release, which is on 12" vinyl and download on 2nd March 2009.

I love it! It's no big change in direction but that's no bad thing - you can tell 2 seconds in it's them!

I'm really looking forward to hearing this. "Prescilla" was one of my favourite singles of 2007 and the album should have won the Mercury that year IMO!

It should be available to download at the very least. I have a medium quality ripped from the 7" but it would sound so much better in HQ. In other news this is only (as of Thursday's midweeks) 97 copies ahead of the No.11 and is in danger of becoming their first non-Top 10 hit.

The B-side "Memory Of You" is brilliant - why was it not included on the CD single though? I can't play 7" vinyls.

She only recorded it so that DJs would be forced to say that was Rachel Stevens 'So Good'. Gotta admit that I loved this at the time, "I Said Never Again.." and "Nothing Good About This Goodbye" were better though.
