Unless he is punching you in the face, its not your business. Yes it is. Nope, it's not. Radio is not a moral barometer. Its a source to play music listeners want to hear. If people want to hear it, they need to play it. Dont try act like an industry full of drug addicts and sexual deviants is suddenly only reserved for the pure of heart. Radio is not a source to rally against legal or domestic issues, point blank. who are you to say he want punished enough? You are not his judge or jury. If the legal system decided his punishment then thats what it is. Its absolutely true. People want to punish this black man forever. If he were white people would not be making comments like "he needs to be put in his place." I don't care what any of u say.

I think the media should be responsible enough to not promote this in a positive life. When it comes to something against the law, especially something as grave as domestic abuse, it becomes everybody's business. Unless he is punching you in the face, its not your business. If they have moved on and all is forgiven that's up to Rihanna. People want to constantly punish this man for a mistake he made when the woman is over it. Everyone else needs to get over it too. If this were Adam Levine or Justin Timberlake it wouldn't even be an issue now.

This is HOT! Radio will play this because they should. What happened between the 2 of them is their business, if they are over then everyone else needs to get over it and enjoy the music.

I think the question is very relative. It depends on who's vocal stylings you like. I certainly do not.

Are you talking about "carrying the vocal torch" or are you talking about pop hits? 2 totally different concepts. if you are talking about great vocalists, pop hits and album sales are irrelevant. And all the women listed are far superior singers to Adele and Alicia keys. Your latter point is certainly open to interpretation, but "carrying the vocal torch" doesn't only mean being the best vocalist. It also means being the most visible representative(s) for true vocal ability to mainstream audiences. If no one's actually hearing your vocal prowess - meaning, if no one's buying your albums or hearing you on the radio - then how can you possibly be "carrying the torch?" Jennifer Hudson is an extremely visible representative for true vocal ability. She is asked to perform EVERYWHERE because of her vocal ability and is recognized as such. Superbowl, Kennedy Center Honors, Grammys, Presidential performances, etc. It was HER they asked to tribute Whitney Houston at the Grammy's. She is requested to perform at every major event because of her voice. She may not be a huge album seller but she is most definitely highly regarding for carrying on the vocals for this generation. Kelly Clarkson also its that category. She has the most talked about Star Spangled Banner performance in years and she is a powerhouse vocalist and she i a good seller. Adele nor Alicia Keys can hold a candle to either of those women. Especially Alicia Keys. She sounds horrible live.

Adele I'd agree with, Alicia not so much. She whines in too many of her songs. I think most of the general population would say that the big "voices" are Christina/Clarkson/Underwood/JHud. Christina hasn't had a hit in years so I wouldn't call her current, though I do think she got her profile up enough where she might have a comeback with her next album. Still- she has a very polarizing voice. Many people say she screams rather than sings. Kelly- maybe she can hit the notes but her songs sound like typical Dr. Luke pop songs and rarely focus on her belting. Underwood- I don't think the general public even knows more than one song by her. She's a huge Country star, but that also widely limits her audience. Jennifer- I agree on the voice but she's never on the charts. She's yet to have a Pop hit and she's not even had more than a few Urban hits, none of which are chart topping. Alicia reminds me of the old time divas because she takes her time between albums and when she comes back, it's with her signature style and you can tell she went into the studio to make songs rather than hits. The hits just happen (and sometimes don't). I think Adele will be that type of artist too. I would probably also put Beyonce in this group. Are you talking about "carrying the vocal torch" or are you talking about pop hits? 2 totally different concepts. if you are talking about great vocalists, pop hits and album sales are irrelevant. And all the women listed are far superior singers to Adele and Alicia keys.

This is taking off at Urban and Urban AC. Not sure if this is a live version from the Grammy's or if she did a studio version.

No this is not Brandy's first single. An alternate version will appear on her album. She has a seperate official single being released. This will serve as Monica's 2nd single.

I like Madonna but she is really serving me with Crypt Keeper vibes working with these younger artists for her first singles.
