I heard Clive is really fighting to get "U + Ur Hand" here. That one sounds really underwhelming to me in high quality though too and it's so juvenile that it's definitely not going to win her any points. The title alone is a turn off. That's hopeful. I honestly think it would do better than Who Knew, just becuase of it's catchy factor...but I agree, two juvenile singles in a row isn't going to do her any good. They're ridiculous for not even considering Long Way To Happy.

"Who Knew" should definitely NOT be the second single anymore. On another board, Doctor Luke said that "Who Knew" is only confirmed to be released overseas, but not in the US. That's good, because i want "U + Ur Hand" as the second single in the US. She needs a SUREFIRE hit.

I kind of changed my mind....I still think Long Way To Happy should be the second single, but that Who Knew should be a single over U + Ur Hand...the strings at the end are really climactic.

I don't think "U + Ur Hand" is a surefire hit at all. She has four flops in a row now and the last time she had a big hit was four years ago. It's going to take an amazing song to have a big comeback and a song with disposable production and juvenile lyrics about jacking off is not the kind of song to create unexpected comebacks. I wouldn't be surprised if the second single flops even harder than "Stupid Girls".

At least she could get a top 10 HAC with WK and top 5 pop.

I highly, highly doubt "Who Knew" would go Top 5. It sounds way too cheap for a Top 5 pop hit by someone on Pink's level. People are acting like Pink is guaranteed a smash from this album and I think that's being a little optimistic especially since having heard these songs in full today.

lol it's weird how people were saying the songs' would be smashes when the songs' were leaked months ago, but when the songs come out in full, they say it will flop. Isn't the full versions of the songs' supposed to make it better? I mean to me, all the songs improved 100% because it's the whole song, in high quality.

Songs don't always sound better in high quality especially when they're poorly produced. Low quality masks the flaws. In this case, her vocals are incredibly overprocessed on these songs and you can hear it now when you couldn't before.

The more I hear this in high quality, the more I like it...I think I was just shocked at how poppy it was. Now I'm thinking that could work for her well.

It definitely sounds better on repeated listens, especially on a stereo... but "Long Way To Happy" is definitely a stronger choice for a comeback single.

I still think its a good choice.
Long Way To Happy is actually the one that has underwhelmed me so far. And as much as I like U + Ur Hand, she should WAIT before releasing that second.

Okay, so this reminds me of "Wherever You Will Go" by The Calling.

I never heard the low-quality version, so I can't compare. But this sounds fine to me. Definately won't be the huge hit she needs though.

This song is definately one of the highlights off the album. Probably wouldn't've been my choice to follow up SG with (which really is far and away the weakest song on the album, but it did its job at getting her name back out there). As long as U+UH gets released, I'm happy.
