Yeah, I think Ashlee's best shot at reviving her career with a re-release would have been to release a single that no one would expect from her, like an 80's dance-pop single. Instead she's releasing what sounds like a lot of other songs on the album. It's like they're expecting that just because this is a new song that it's going to give her a better shot at a hit. I mean it probably will, but it's not like this is guaranteeing her a smash. She has a major hurdle to get over at this point.

This is the right song for her. It's really catchy and she's not screaming. This should have been her second single from her debut album, it could have been a guaranteed #1 smash.

I don't know, but I think that this song is going to be semi-smash. Maybe because she looks better than ever, the video it seems to be her best yet, and the song is catchy.

Just heard the whole thing...it's VERY radio friendly and her voals are really decent, but it's still not as instant as In Another Life.

If this really went for adds this week, it didn't pull in any. They should have left the adds date as it was.

This is pulling in a lot of adds now. Unfortunately, her tour isn't moving a lot of seats...they're seriously giving them away for free  I'd rather hear this on the radio than "Stars are Blind", but that doesn't say much. |

Now that I've heard both Deja Vu and Ain't No Other Man, I think it's safe to say this WILL have a chance to be a hit in about a month...both of those others are going to plummet after their initial hype is dead. I still have high expectations for Janet and Justin...It'd be great if her sister had a big hit, too.
