For a song that was so huge in downloads and Top 15 on the Hot 100, this looks like it peaked already at #19 Pop.

I wouldn't call this one quite a novelty, but I see what you mean.
"Fergalicious" is far more novelty to me.

It's kind of novelty to me in the sense that I've never heard of this group before, and probably never will after this song, but somehow they managed to score a 'hit' with a song that is 'different' in a corny kinda way.

OK, so this is Scott Mills' record of the week and every time he plays it he gets a barrage of texts telling him to stop playing, that it's awful, that it sounds like Cher (OK, I agree with that one), and calling him 'Disco Gay Boy'. Not off to a good start, then.
