and that's why i'm happy that i don't listen to the radio EVER! Moi aussi. It's all about my iPod and CD player. I only listen to the radio when I'm out of those options. |

everytime someone gives me directions ("it's on your left;" "turn left at the lights;" "to your left side"), i'm reminded of this song.
I go a day without listening to this song, then I hear it (on t.v, radio, in the background playing on someone's ipod , on my friend's computer) and I fall in love with it all over again.
Inescapable !

LOL yeah. The "to the left" part is brilliant from a marketing standpoint. There's really no absolute need for it in terms of the lyrics or the song stucture. But they managed to find a way to add a catch phrase to a type of song that usually wouldn't have one, and it fits right in with the song and definitely got people talking about it, which gave the song its initial boost.

Yea I can listen to the Spanish version... but I still usually don't. IM DEAD whenever I hear "in el closet" and she rolls the 'l' too LMFAO
